Well, let me start from the beginning...
There is this contest here on DA, you have to do something about Tomb Raider and all... It should be something suitable for printers and stuff... You know what I'm talking about.
Here's my entry:
I don't even think it's good enough to win but still, could you have a little look and tell me what you think.
Just a little peek... You don't need to add it to favorites and everything, just take a look. All I need is just a little attention.
There are many better works out there but I don't think about them as something suitable for printing.
Personally, I think my work is quite bad but I'm not the expert here.
People need to decide... And they will, soon...

What I mean is, what do you think about people using this kind of events as a reason to make art?

Dla zainteresowanych kupnem zamieszkujących bogate ziemie Polski, nawiązałem współpracę z MONOLITART.com, gdzie od teraz można nabyć niektóre moje prace. Oczywiście, możne też lepiej wydać pieniądze... Ale jeśli ktoś nie ma co z nimi zrobić, to polecam siebie.

Have you ever been interested in wasting money on some simple poster-like art? Well, now you can, because I've updated my prints shop.

I can see why you're not satisfied with it .... the color scheme isn't very exciting, the lighting is a bit iffy (shouldn't the chess portion catch more light?), the linework on the wood doesn't work, you could have done something a little more exciting with the background blob..... Oh sorry, didn't mean to sound so negative!
The idea behind it is pretty cool however. Lara in action and in peril, and not portrayed like a fashion model.
I dont like these kind of competitions: it seems like an easy way for the developers/makers of a movie/game to get some cheap art. The Neil Gaiman competition is a perfect example of this: crappy prizes and you lose the copyright to your creation . But hey, if other people live for these competions, more power to them.
